In February 2018, the AANEM Foundation brought you the story of James Higginson, a man who had been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) in 2017. A year after his diagnosis, James provides good news on his recovery, discusses his future plans, and shares words of wisdom for those with GBS in the below video update.

The AANEM Foundation is so pleased to hear James' recovery story and is hopeful that other patients fighting neuromuscular diseases can experience similar successes. Your donation to the AANEM Foundation will fund scientific research to help find treatments and cures for patients living with muscle and nerve disorders.
