Surinderjit Singh Young Lectureship Award

The AANEM Annual Meeting plenary will include a speaker each year who is the winner of the Surinderjit Singh Young Lectureship Award. This lecture will honor long-time AANEM member Dr. Surinderjit Singh.
 

Award Subject and Criteria

The lectureship topic should align with the theme of the AANEM Annual Meeting plenary topic
 

Submission Guidelines and Eligibility Criteria

Candidates to speak must be within 10 years of finishing a residency or fellowship.

If you would like to be considered for this award, please send your CV and a letter expressing why you wish to speak, and the topic you wish to speak on, to meeting@aanem.org. Please put Lectureship Award in the subject line.

The application deadline is the 15th of February. The AANEM President will review applications after the deadline and AANEM will notify the chosen speaker in March.
 

Award Benefits

The Surinderjit Singh Young Lectureship Award recipients receive:
  • $1,000 cash honorarium
  • Airfare ($500 U.S. travelers, $1,000 non-U.S.) and 2 days hotel accommodations
  • Recognition in the program book and at the AANEM Annual Meeting.
