Edward H. Lambert

Known as the "Father of EMG", Dr. Edward H. Lambert (1915-2003) was one of the founding members of the American Association of Electromyography and Electrodiagnosis (AAEE), the organization known today as the American Association for Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM).

Dr. Lambert served as President of AAEE in 1956, and served on the advisory board of the AANEM journal, Muscle & Nerve, for the first 12 years after its establishment. In 1995, he was awarded the AANEM's most prestigious honor, the Lifetime Achievement Award.
