Technologist Best Abstract Award

The AANEM Technologist Best Abstract Award is given to the first and presenting author of the best research paper submitted by a technologist who has conducted research in neuromuscular and electrodiagnostic medicine.

Deadline for submission is March 15.
 

Award and Eligibility Criteria


Research must be conducted on topics in the fields of neuromuscular and electrodiagnostic medicine. Those who are the first and presenting author of an accepted abstract for the annual meeting receive a $200 cash award.

Note: To qualify for this award, the recipient must be the first author and the abstract presenter, a Technologist Member at time of abstract submission, and present at the AANEM Annual Meeting to receive the financial award.

 

Submission Guidelines

Submit an abstract between January 1 and March 15. During the application process, you will be asked if you plan to apply for the Technologist Best Abstract Award.

 

Award Benefits

The Technologist Best Abstract Award recipient receives:
  • Free AANEM Annual Meeting registration
  • $200 cash 
  • Recognition in the program book and at the AANEM Annual Meeting
  • Abstract published in Muscle & Nerve
The Technologist Best Abstract Award Runner-up (if one is selected) recipient receives:
  • $200 cash
  • Recognition in the program book and at the AANEM Annual Meeting
  • Abstract published in Muscle & Nerve
