Support Those RACING for a CURE
Five members of the ANF charity team in the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon on November 3rd. They will be racing to raise awareness and funds for NM research and education. Runner #1 - Michele Arnold, MD, MBA
Dr. Arnold serves as Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Intermountain Health, St. Mary's Regional Hospital, in Grand Junction, Colorado. She has completed three marathons and ten half marathons, along with many 10ks and 5ks.
Dr. Kersten is a physiatrist at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has run nine full marathons and has qualified for the Boston Marathon four times.
Runner #3 - Kristopher Marin, DO
Dr. Marin is a physiatrist and sports medicine specialist with Kettering Health in Hamilton, Ohio. Every year he runs one or two marathons and two or three half marathons.
Dr. Pierce is a physiatrist at the University of Nebraska Medical Center with clinical appointments at Nebraska Medicine—Nebraska Medical Center and the Omaha VA Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. He has run seven marathons and more than ten half-marathons, as well as many other road, trail, and relay races.
Runner #5 - Hye Chang "HC" Rhim, MD, MPH
Dr. Rhim is a resident physician in PM&R at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He has run 19 marathons and looks forward to impacting the NM community through fundraising and spreading awareness.
