The American Neuromuscular Foundation (ANF) is proud to present the 2025 Surinderjit Singh Young Lectureship Award to Crystal Yeo, MB BChir, PhD, in recognition of her innovative work in NM and EDX medicine. This prestigious award honors the legacy of Dr. Surinderjit Singh and supports early-career clinicians and researchers who are advancing the future of patient care. the United Kingdom.
As part of the award, Dr. Yeo will deliver a plenary lecture at the 2025 AANEM Annual Meeting titled “Translational Applications in Precision Medicine: AI-Driven Biomarker Discovery and Stem Cell Modelling in Motor Neuron Diseases.” Her talk will explore how emerging technologies—like AI, CRISPR, and stem cell modeling—can improve diagnosis, treatment, and patient outcomes in devastating diseases such as ALS and SMA. Driven by a deep personal commitment to her patients, Dr. Yeo’s work reflects the award’s mission to honor innovation, compassion, and impact in NM care.
