This year, you have the power to turn miles into meaningful progress.

As an official charity partner of the TCS New York City Marathon, ANF is teaming up with five passionate runners, each raising $4,000 to fuel critical research and education in neuromuscular medicine.

Because of supporters like you, those miles translate into real progress—advancing discoveries, expanding physician training, and delivering hope to patients and families around the world. This isn’t just a race—it’s a movement you make possible.

Meet the Team

Mark Levine, MD
Dr. Levine is running in memory of his grandmother, Blossom Levine Abrams, whose battle with ALS inspired his career in neuromuscular medicine and his commitment to research, so that future patients and families will have hope for better treatments.

Chris Fortin, MD
An experienced marathoner with multiple Toronto TCS and Chicago finishes and a Boston Marathon qualification, Dr. Fortin sees running as a way to honor the resilience his patients show every day.

Don't let them run alone.

Show your support by cheering them on or contributing to their fundraising campaigns. Every donation fuels critical research, supports educational initiatives, and brings us one step closer to life-changing breakthroughs for those living with neuromuscular diseases.
