Medical Student Scholarship
The American Neuromuscular Foundation (ANF) invites medical students interested in discovering a subspecialty with cutting-edge science, rewarding clinical work, and exciting career opportunities, to apply for the Medical Student Scholarship. This scholarship supports up to 30 medical students' attendance at the AANEM Annual Meeting, where they will engage with leaders in NM and EDX medicine and explore potential career paths in these exciting and rewarding fields.
Eligibility Criteria
Note: Only (1) medical student will be selected per institution. If 2 applications are received, the one received first will have priority.

Applications close Aug. 1, 2025. The ANF funds these scholarships through donations from our generous supporters.
Tip for Applicants: As part of the application, you’ll be asked to respond to three short personal statement questions (up to 500 words each) about your interests, experiences, and goals related to EDX and NM. We recommend reviewing the questions in advance so you can be better prepared to complete your application.

- Why are you interested in learning more about NM/EDX medicine?
- What has your exposure to these fields been so far?
- How would receiving this scholarship help you determine your choice of fellowship?
