Resident Scholarship
The American Neuromuscular Foundation (ANF) invites PM&R and Neurology residents to apply for the Resident Scholarship—an opportunity to explore exciting career paths in NM and EDX medicine. This scholarship supports up to 25 residents' attendance at the AANEM Annual Meeting, where they can discover the exciting and rewarding possibilities within these fields.

Resident Scholarship recipients receive:
- Complimentary registration to the AANEM Annual Meeting
- $1,500 travel stipend to cover airfare and 3 nights of accommodations
- Access to sessions designed to introduce you to NM/EDX medicine and provide career guidance from leading experts
- Institution receives 1 year free of the Training Program Partnership, providing free membership to the scholarship winner and all other residents and fellows in the program as well as access to free educational resources to improve the understanding of electrodiagnostic and neuromuscular medicine as well as ultrasound.
Applications close Aug. 1, 2025. The ANF funds these scholarships through donations from our generous supporters.
Tip for Applicants: As part of the application, you’ll be asked to respond to three short personal statement questions (up to 500 words each) about your interests, experiences, and goals related to EDX and NM. We recommend reviewing the questions in advance so you can be better prepared to complete your application.

- What has your exposure to these fields been so far?
- How would receiving this scholarship help you determine your choice of fellowship?
