Surinderjit Singh Young Lectureship Award

The American Neuromuscular Foundation (ANF) proudly supports emerging leaders in neuromuscular and electrodiagnostic medicine through several annual awards. One of these opportunities is the Surinderjit Singh Young Lectureship Award, established in honor of long-time AANEM member Dr. Surinderjit Singh.

This award recognizes an early-career physician who will be selected by the ANF president to present at the AANEM Annual Meeting plenary

Award Subject and Criteria

The lectureship topic should align with the theme of the AANEM Annual Meeting plenary topic.

Submission Guidelines and Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be within 10 years of completing a residency or fellowship
  • Propose a lecture topic that aligns with the Plenary topic of the AANEM Annual Meeting 

Award Benefits

The Surinderjit Singh Young Lectureship Award recipient receives:

  • Round-trip coach airfare up to $500 (U.S.) or $1,000 (international)
  • Up to 2 nights of hotel accommodations
  • $1,000 honorarium
  • Recognition in the Annual Meeting program and at the event

The AANEM President will review applications after the deadline and AANEM will notify the chosen speaker in March.
