Technologist Best Abstract Award
The Technologist Best Abstract Award is given to the best research paper submitted by a technologist who has conducted and shared research to advance the science of neuromuscular and musculoskeletal diseases.
Award Subject and Criteria
Research must be conducted on topics in the fields of neuromuscular and electrodiagnostic medicine.
To be eligible for this award, the recipient must be the first author of the research, designated abstract presenter, present at the AANEM
Annual Meeting, and a Technologist Member at
time of abstract submission.
Submission Guidelines
Submit an abstract between January
1 and March 15. Eligibility is automatically determined during the submission process based on the applicant’s membership status and type. No further action is needed from the applicant.
Award Benefits
The Technologist Best Abstract Award recipient receives:
- $200
- Free AANEM Annual Meeting registration
- Recognition in the annual meeting abstract guide and at the AANEM Annual Meeting
- Abstract published in an issue of Muscle & Nerve
The Technologist Best Abstract Award runner-up receives:
- $200
- Recognition in the annual meeting abstract guide and at the AANEM Annual Meeting
- Abstract published in an issue of Muscle & Nerve
