The
American Neuromuscular Foundation supports its educational and research goals by funding several annual awards that give physicians the opportunity to be recognized among their peers for their research and to attend the AANEM Annual Meeting.

Surinderjit Singh Young Lectureship Award
Given to an early-career physician, this plenary is selected by the AANEM President to present at the AANEM Annual Meeting.

Golseth Young Investigator Award
Given to the best research paper submitted by a young physician to the AANEM Annual Meeting.

Best Abstract Award
Given to the best research paper submitted to the AANEM Annual Meeting.

President's Research Initiative Award
Given to up to 10 individuals who submit the best abstracts on the topic chosen by the AANEM President each year.

Residency and Fellowship Member Award
Given to AANEM Residency and Fellowship members who are first authors on abstracts presented at the Annual Meeting.

Pediatric Research Award
The AANEM Pediatric Research Award encourages research in pediatric neuromuscular and electrodiagnostic medicine.

Technologist Best Abstract Award
Given to the best research paper submitted by a technologist who has conducted and shared research to advance the science of neuromuscular and musculoskeletal diseases.

Medical Student Research Award
Given to medical students who are the first author and designated presenter on abstracts presented at the AANEM Annual Meeting.

International Physician Scholarships
A scholarship award given to physicians practicing in disadvantaged regions to enable them to attend the AANEM Annual Meeting.
